midichlorians
Exactly...Whats the point of introducing this concept if it didnt matter to anyone becoming a jedi ?
That midichlorian introduced a pecking order via blood count instead of "it surrounds and binds us together"
midichlorians
"i have the power to save the one you love"
5 minutes later...
"to cheat death is a power only one has achieved, but if we work together, I know we can discover the secret. "

Trade disputes, no real "plots", Anakin's actors suck, most of the acting sucks, most of the dialog sucks, unbelievable romance, green screen everything, midichlorians, Watto the Jew, Jar Jar the bumbling Jamaican, Trade Federation Asians, R2 can now fly, Padme dies of sadness, Jedi council portrayed as morons, Palpatine killing 4 jedi in 5 seconds, "nooooooo", a fukking 50s diner, Yoda doing backflips, killing off the more interesting characters, C-3PO's cheese ball quips
Didnt i say he was tricked by Palpatine ? IM not getting ur point.
I was with you until this... What's wrong with Yoda flipping around? To see him throwdown was a huge highlight of the prequels to me.
so you agree that anakin was DUPED into becoming evil?
is that not the stupidest fukking thing you've ever heard?
How else is he going to turn Vader into his pupil ? He manipulated him using his wife (his weakness) maybe his only weakness, used it against him...
I dont have an issue with it....its semi brilliant because its so simple and relatable to a viewer that darth vader being the most powerful entity in the galaxy, his one weakness is padme...and emperor recognized that and used his own naivety against him.
They had to tie it in somehow, its not my story to tell....I thnk theres far worse plot revelations than that.
