Thanks for posting this. I love TV on the Radio, I thought they stopped performing after the band member passed

Honestly i'm feeling the acolyte more than this show so far.I like it so far.
Honestly, after the mess that Actolyte was, this could be a fun show.
- The biggest interest thing is the kids' home planet. It being mentioned as a myth makes me wonder why it is so isolated. It did seem it was under strict regulation.
- From the kids' side, it's a kids adventure. But with them getting involved with pirates is perhaps showing that the outside world is cruler then Wim realizes. Also, Fern is the other kid who prob gets the most focus.
- We're getting a focus on pirates which is actual a bit of Star Wars that in terms of Shows & Films we haven't gotten outside of episodes in Clone Wars & Rebels. (Not sure if also in Bad Batch since I have only seen S1.)
- Droid had me rolling at times.
Yeah, I wasn't thinking about it until you mentioned it, but that's one of the worst things about the show.this show is fun, but the little white girl is an absolute c*nt. yeah, i called a child a c*nt. they've written her to be one. she's gonna be the hero of the show too.

I like her Fern because sometimes Wim gets lost in the fantasy of becoming a Jedi and she brings him back to reality at the right moments. She's obnoxious and bossy but the other kids aren't afraid to call her out either. K-B and Neal are the most logical and mature out of the four.this show is fun, but the little white girl is an absolute c*nt. yeah, i called a child a c*nt. they've written her to be one. she's gonna be the hero of the show too.
That suburban society is definitely hiding something. Wims dad looked like he was contemplating shaking things upShe acts just like.......a bratty little girl aka Han Solo.
Not sure what's wrong with the planet being suburban. Just like in many 80s movies, that environment is used as a device for troubled in paradise. Suburbia is inefficient, panoptic. and lures people into a false comfortability. To trrr ally appropriate use case for what is going on.
The problem (for me) is that there's NO logical reason it specifically looks like "movie land USA" 1980's Suburbs. What's the reason why an alien world has almost exact matches to a culture that just happens to be familiar to the target demographics of the parents watching this show? She acts just like.......a bratty little girl aka Han Solo.
