This last episode was amazing. I like how they showed the clear cut difference between Kirk and Pike. It's also crazy that Vulcans, or at least Spock, had no idea that Romulans are like their cousins.

Just binged this whole season this weekend. My favorite star trek show imo.
Some notes,
the new ohura got some tiddy meats, so does the security officer
all the cast seems to be doing a great job in the roles,
Love the old school format of weekly standalone arcs, rather than a season long thing
i'd like to see more than one black man in a show like this with a meaningful role one day. Brehs are often overrepresented in militaries sort of like how we are with sports, and yet often used sparingly in Hollywood when it comes to military shows set in real life or sci fi. They seem to be priding themselves on diversity by adding more women to the cast, which is cool. but different genders of white people is still white people.
