Here's the thing tho. Saying this and having a negative connotation behind it is part of the problem culturally. If there was less stigma or social mistreatment for black men and women (especially women) to pursue hobbies and occupation in nerd field like video games, math, science, 3d rendering etc. We'd have more representation and people pursuing and crafting narratives designed for us. (Ignoring all the other factors that serve as obstacles to entry in these industries of course but this isn't the thread for that type of discourse)
