Which sucks because eveything he did gonna be negated in the next movie

Yes but in all fairness..... the so called “best comic book movie villain” only killed like person on screen. Thanos killed more.

But besides that...... cuz many of Marvel villains killed MANY people in their movies (and somehow perceived as weak).

The difference here is (again like the so called best villain) Thanos “talked”

And evidently to be the best you have to talk.

No not just kill a hero’s mom, destroy their country, destroy a city, or etc.

No...... TALK

So no matter what gets negated..... he still killed more the “so called GOAT” and he had more lines of dialogue

I mean, why the entire Universe? Why spend your time doing that?

The stone collecting can be seen as power. But why go out of your way and destroy half the universe for population control?

He went through that so hopefully you won't have to go thru that.

Thanos

Thanos was born to Alars,[1] a member of the Titans, a race of powerful, god-like beings that evolved on a planet with which they shared their name. Thanos was born misshapen, bearing a physical mutation that left him marked as an anomaly amongst his people and therefore left him an outcast. Despite his status, Thanos sought to save Titan when the planet became threatened by the imminent catastrophic event of overpopulation. When Thanos suggested killing half the population of the planet to solve the problem, his idea was considered too drastic and was dismissed by his people, which resulted in Titan becoming subsequently devastated as well as nearly uninhabitable. Another result of this devastation was that the Titan species was on the verge of extinction.

That's basically his motive. He doesn't want what happened to his planet to happen anywhere else, even if he has to kill off half the universe.

i dont understand him though. he could create infinite resources with the infinity gauntlet. killing half the population is just lazy and a temporary solution

Vader was somewhat ruined by the prequels.

He's this badass villain in the OG movies, but then you watch Episodes II and III and see that under the mask he's just a selfish, emotionally unstable crybaby. And pretty stupid as well.

More like the infinity war comic, Its just no one thought they would go that route like at all.
Thanos actually wins the majority of his battles, it part of what makes him interesting. Infact seeing him lose is weird now that I think about it.
