Spinoff: Was OGD Urkel the worst sitcom character of ALL TIME?

They stop caring because the $ is rolling in, syndication is right around the corner and they're comfortable in thinking that other jobs will be lined up. Then you have the jaded mindset of believing the show will last forever.

How many of these shows see the creative team get shaken up when the studio wants to make tweaks or dumb shyt like a time slot change happens.

Look at the three shows that were killing it on the Thursday night Fox lineup in the 90s: Martin, Living Single, NY Undercover. All three changed fir the worse and fell off. Martin blew up, got movie roles, etc but then the shyt with Gina/Tisha "happened" and the show never recovered. Living Single fell off when everyone started getting in serious relationships rather it being 5 single people in NY on some Seinfekd shyt. On Seinfeld no one got married and they all stayed single to the end (that Curb Your Enthusiasm shyt don't count). On NY Undercover they added McNamarra, killed Eddie, flipped the show to some NYPD Blue shyt and randomly Tommy from Martin is the boss like no one would remember him acting a fool on Martin?

Killing Eddie off NY:Undercover & replacing him with Tommy & those other two losers KILLED the show!!!

Tommy was also on the Gun episode(I thonk he was). & Freddie Prinze Jr. too

That last Christmas episode with Rachael and the rest of the main characters coming back is the REAL series finale imo.

It's easier to think that way so you don't remember that Gina's Mom (Martin) became Harriette in that terrible last season.

Wasn't she pregnant during that time? I think that was the only way to have her on the show without showing her pregnancy cause lord knows Al wasn't gonna hit that

She was preggers, but they last time she was pregnant, they wrote it into the show and she ended up having a miscarriage. So any other time she was pregnant, they had her absent or did the usual TV tropes.

How long was Steve practicing this dance at home

Did he memorize the rap too or was it off the dome

How do Laura and Maxine know the dance 2 moves in

The rest of the party knows the shyt 5 moves in

In another thread I talked about the first time Myra is on the show, she's a perfect woman. One of Laura's dates hooks Steve up with his cousin who is Myra because she likes nerds. She's bad as hell, smart as fukk, good head on her shoulders and actually likes Steve. They had to make her crazy as shyt just to justify Steve still wanting Laura.

True, true, but crazy attracts crazy. Steve Urkel was a fukked up individual. He'd been stalking the same girl for 8 years and was a literal mad scientist. Really his attachment to Laura and the Winslows had to have been because of his abusive parents. Remember that episode where he ended up in the hospital and his parents were like and started attending seminars on moving on from your child dying? Hell, I remember he said his parents tried to stuff him back in after he was born.

His actual parents wouldn't let him do shyt. The Winslows let him get away with blowing up their house every week. Urkel was a product of horrible influences...
