I think colorism affects Black men BUT Black men do not get the benefit of understanding so we just keep on trucking and succeed. Also Black male sex symbols and celebrities have run the spectrum. I wouldn’t call Ye dark skin, but he isn’t light.

Wale just doesn’t make music that’s as good as the people you listed.

Wale makes good music, but it’s not commercial enough.

When Ambition came out it got a lot of play because it sounded really good to everyone.

Wale music just not on that level.

Let’s use Tyga for example, he had a few hits and then he was gone.
