I’m a brown skin nikka like Michael b and trey songz and the only people that I’ve heard classify that as light skinned is some one from Africa.

IMO White supremacist beauty standards also make black men insecure about our hair, skin, features ect.
But as men we are not judged by our "looks" as much as black women are so it was easier for us to stop stuff like frying our hair. It's also why dark skin men are going to struggle less withe beauty standards then darker women
