It’s aged well because the movie was set back in the 20’s

it’s already aged the first time you watched it back in 2000

It had a few funny moments, but it was never THAT funny to me.

But it was still a good movie.

it is an all time classic. One of the best comedies of all time.No goofy spoof shyt, just a good story filled with legendary comedians.

Eddie’s classics have somethings in common. A great underlying story and plenty of heart. The comedy is really the cherry on top.

It's always been a great movie. I think that most viewers didn't understand the angle it took. Gotta love what Ted Demme did with it, it's amazing job. I think what hurt the film is that most were expecting a flat out comedy from 2 greats. If anything it's a dark comedy, hinging upon drama. I think it was just too early for it's audience. The younger ones that grew up on Martin understand it better now, and the crowd from when Eddie was king connect to them being older more.
