How many of you recognized Rick James as ‘Spanky’ initially? I was when I found out upon rewatches.

to Eddie for always looking out.

Great movie experience when I was younger, casting was great, chemistry was good. Like everyone is saying some of the scenes were just flat out depressing .

It's a beautiful movie about friendship and brotherhood. There are tons of quotables, the soundtrack is crazy, and damn near everybody in the cast is a legend.

It wasn't that.. and I was a little let down.. but as the years have passed it's easily one of Murphy's best "mid" movies.

Dark horse...everytime i see it it gets better..the undercurrent of this movie is so fitting in these times.
