Point still stands, it was a boring, disjointed, painfully over-long and an overstuffed mess that failed both critically and financially. Which is why the franchise is now dead. I know about the arcs but the execution meant I didn't care Gwen dying in the clocktower should have been one of the most powerful moments in any comic book movie but they fukked it up by delivering it a bad movie, I was looking at my watch at that point.

asm2 = best close to cannon Spiderman film based on previous franchises and amalgamations.
it was expertly done.
nikkaz just don't like it cause pr of Garfield being method actor meets Petey under a hood on set sabotaged it.
it is just like Hollywood sabotaged john carter, because of conflict internally.
or, Costner being lambasted because of arguments about water world being over budget because of storms.
affecting the pr and falling out of favor.

it dfinatley incorporated the little nuances and treats from the newer series and comics.
people said they wanted modern spidey and got it.
then, bytched and moaned.
Sony expertly reviewed what spreadsheets/returns to target content wise and did that.
the only problem is spidey was moved so far away from spidey in ultimates and relaunches.
it may not have sat home for older spidey aficionados.
plus, the bitter taste of the original part III, raimi made how they wanted still lingers, too.
regardless,...
those amazing movies were damn good, and inretro if we include part III of the original trilogy versus the amazing sequels.
the amazing relaunch was on par to being better than the first trilogy.
plus, we got the origin of pete's dad that made sense.
they botched in the Bagley/ben Reilly wack era, on film.

slott misses cannon aspects of characters, and adds shyt that makes no sense to pop.
if this is the same guy who took over Gen 13 and ruins it after campbell left.

I haven't Googled him, but I did just find my main comic collection unpacking like a few minutes ago.
if he was on gen13, I will have to find my auxilliary collection to check the credits.
