I got a soft spot for Quantum of Solace although I understand I'm in the minority on that one and I also recognize it has a lot of flaws and its not as good as the two movies that bookend it but Skyfall does so much for the character and has so much awesome character work I can't deny it. It's a gorgeous movie, the action scenes are awesome and it just hits me in every spot I need. Silva is going to go down in the ranks of Goldfinger, Blofeld, Scaramanga, etc

I watched Quantum the other day. That movie gets better every time I watch it. To me it's like we're actually watch Bond use his spy skills. More than just fukking the broad and killing the boss. No gadgets just skills. They showed him moving in and out of spots, making back deals, even hiding from his own people. Not just doing that Brosnan/Moore/Connery shyt of just showing up and grinning. Quantum might be my favorite out of the Craig trilogy. I hope Spectre is closer to Quantum in that way. CR got the relationship and heartbreak, but QoS he's actually doing his thing. SF was beautifully shot, but was more of a rebirth/back story.

I swear to God I had to think twice before I even knew who you were talking about. But then again I've been referring to him exclusively as Joker Bardem since I first saw the movie, lol.
That's cool but again, when you're in the highest grossing Bond and your performance is generally met with favorable reviews and you're an academy award winning actor, history is going to look fondly on you. I don't make the rules breh, I just know how the game is played.
Scaramanga is remembered fondly even though he's in a clusterfukk of a movie. Hell, even Zoran gets love and he's probably in the worst Bond movie ever made. If you or anyone else doesn't think that Silva is going to get that love in the future, :whoknows:
I've watched skyfall a lot and I didn't like it that much on first viewing, it's grown and grown on me. I'd rewatch for visuals alone. QoS I watched once and do not have a need to ever rewatch it again

they are bullshytting their way into a connectionIf I'm right, and I'm just guessing, Quantum either was a subsidiary of Spectre or Mr. White changed teams...and nah it's not his brother or at least not blood brother....
The sheet said that he had a legal guardian and a temporary one and the temporary one is the same name of the character Christoph is supposedly playing. In the books, after his parents died his uncle took him in but i don't remember if they ever gave anymore backstory to his uncle or even a name, although i could be wrong but obviously in the movie, this is the guy who took him in after his parents died as a temporary guardian

the REAL story is.... they didn't have the rights to the SPECTRE name and likeness... how or why... i do not know.... but they had to make up some bullshyt.. even after casino royale, they were asking people to make up the meaning of QUANTUM... so it'd stand for something.. . but it was basically SPECTRE with a new name
now apparently they bought the rights back or whatever... so they like fukk it.. lets just use it... i'm sure it'll be explained away real real quick and we'll just move on with SPECTRE now
