@MartyMcFly which james bond movie is the best?

You can't go wrong with either one tho breh. From Russia With Love is probably the most straightforward spy flick in the whole series and has a dope fight on a train. Along with Connery doing his best performance as Bond and if you plan on seeing Spectre, it's a good primer

So here's something I found out going through my copy of Octop*ssy, which I just started reading....

Obenhauser is the name of the guy who took Bond in after his parents died and he became a father figure obviously and his ski instructor. All of that lines up with those documents in the trailer and Christoph is Obenhauser's son

This isn't about Spectre per say but apparently Idris has either had enough of the rumors or just doesn't want to do it...I'm kinda confused by this:

While being linked with the top 007 job can’t be a particularly bad feeling, it seems Idris Elba is sick of talking about the ongoing speculation that he's being lined up as the next James Bond.

"Honestly, it’s a rumor that’s really starting to eat itself," the 42-year-old star of Luther and The Wiretold the audience at London's British Film Institute on Tuesday. "If there was ever any chance of me getting Bond, it’s gone."

Elba also confirmed that talks with Bond producers have "never happened," and blamed the man currently brandishing the license to kill for sparking the gossip.

"Daniel Craig actually set the rumor off. About four years ago he said Idris Elba would be a great Bond and then it started to creep," he said. "I blame Daniel."

Elba added that he had just finished shooting the fourth season of Luther, a two-part special due to air on BBC America later this year. He also added fuel to talk of a spinoff film, saying it would happen "hopefully."

The actor was speaking at the world premiere of Mandela, My Dad and Me, a deeply personal self-produced documentary chronicling the recording of mi Mandela, the 2014 album inspired by his research and portrayal of the late South African statesman in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

Elba, who also DJs and admitted that he loves music "more than acting," said that he decided to make the record — using musicians in South Africa and Mali — when his father, Winston, passed away in September 2013, shortly after he completed work on the biopic.

Dude probably gets that question every interview (as well as anyone who approaches him on the street), I can understand why he's getting tired of it.
Yup, not just questions about being Bond, but having to deal with "How would it feel to be BLACK Bond?" and "What's your reaction to people who don't think Bond should be black?" when it's possible he hasn't even had discussions about a role he wouldn't be up for in probably 5 more years.

Yeah I'd be annoyed by this point too and say fukk it, i don't want the headache. Well if i were him..since I'm me and if they asked me to be Bond I'd do it in a heartbeat.

He said the same thing in that interview around the time of Skyfall's release and then started bringing up the possibility of being Bond again recently so:yeshrug:

Yeah true but I think one was more in being respectful to the guy still in the role and this seems more like him saying "meh"
