this is not just with just SW

The issue with SW on top of the weather is that the crews were not able to get to their hot spots (BWI, DAL, MDW, etc) which caused massive interruptions across their network
Their crew scheduling system sounds like it needs to be revamped

Agreed. I work at one of Warren Buffet's companies and they got this multi-billion dollar operation still using command-line software from 1992.



No user interface at all. They got every department from accounting to HR typing in green letters on a black screen like @Neo The Resurrected ONE in the matrix.
