What was the last good Sonic game?
Sonic Mania >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sonic Generations
Even though OP is trolling, this video shares his point and makes a lot of sense.

this video is trash. What's he complaining about? Third person camera angles? Is he really trying to say God of War is like Detroit Human is like Last of Us? Is he really ignoring the other exclusive games like Persona 5 even Sony made games like Gran Turismo, The Last Guardian, and Ratchet and Clank?
Dude is basically taking a narrow subset of games from like 4 or so studios and trying to argue that those style games are all Sony makes just because those games are super popular AAA titles. God forbid a studio decide to use a third person camera in a game.
The video is terrible clickbait that Xbox fanboys will run with and people who don't analyze stuff so much will hear and think it's a good point. It's not unless you wanna act like Sony Santa Monica, Guerrilla Games, Sucker Punch, and Naughty Dog are the only studios Sony has making games.
The argument is incorrect. If you consider the entire scope of games Sony puts out the games by those 4 or so studios aren't all of them. They are
All the non 3rd person action games are either hold overs from last gen, or made by 3rd parties
Sony's 1st party studios have all decided to chase after that uncharted feel. And as the video pointed out, this is proven by the fact that studios that were making different types of games last year are all making uncharted clones now.
They are Sony's biggest 1st party studios. They are the studios where Sony would have direct control over the direction of the games. They are the studios Shawn Layton was referring to when he made his comments about Sony's strengthsThe argument is incorrect. They are. You are being disingenuous if you can't admit that studios are chasing after the uncharted formula.Uncharted is a third person cover shooter. People have taken Uncharted and made is so vague that any third person game with cut scenes that feature large action sequences is considered a clone. Tomb Raider (2013) is an Uncharted clone, God of War (2018) is not.
I admit some hesitancy going into my gameplay time with Spider-Man after seeing the E3 2017 gameplay footage. Despite being open-world, the gameplay shown seemed to be on rails, and I feared most of the game would feel rigid in that way. Those fears washed away immediately after getting my hands on the game. Both the web-swinging and combat offer impressive levels of player improvisation. I put down the controller feeling like I had truly taken control of the character, and I am eager to hone my web-swinging skills and see what talented players are able to do with him in September.
Your argument is essentially this. Everything they do that proves my point wrong is disqualified from consideration therefor my point is correct. You don't see the problem with that? They are Sony's biggest 1st party studios. They are the studios where Sony would have direct control over the direction of the games. It's funny you stans are quick to say when a non Sony studio is chasing that style of game, as you even made a thread about it.
Isn't it kinda funny how Tomb Raider looks like an Uncharted clone?
But if someone says that Sony's own studios are doing the same y'all wanna start throwing insults and denying it's even a thing.
You stans are terrible
@MeachTheMonster what part of this looks not like a game but like a movie?
