Nah, the world is pretty standard open world IMO. Just added FromSoft gameplay style. Good mix. But it is FromSoft on a Horse.

Got 30 hours in roughly so far. It's a Souls game on horseback in an open world. You have to unlock areas in Souls games period. You just doing it in a bigger sandbox environment in this game.
