@MeachTheMonster How would you compare this to say Hellblade 2's in-engine teaser?

Hellblade focused on up close facial animations, this on environments, so I don’t view it as an apples to apples comparison.

But I think graphical fidelity is on par with both of them as much as you can tell through YouTube videos.

Animation seems better on hellblade, but it’s a cutscene so that’s expected.

Again. I think something like Cyberpunk or even RDR2 on PC is more impressive than all of that. They have similar graphical fidelity and better lighting, while also being very dense in actual detail and interactivity.

I mean extra detailed shadows on rocks and eyelids is great, but all of that don’t matter when you are actually playing the game.

Xbox should release 2-3 months before the PS5 and hope people cave in to next gen hype crave to establish sales prior to PS5. Even if a better system, like iPhones people currently have they console eco system tied up with PSN and Sony so getting people to swap over to xbox if just comparable machine will be hard. They need to capitalize on consumerism to compete.

It's just people reacting to this video crushing the weird belief that the PS5 was severely weak and wouldn't be capable of impressive visuals. The gap between the two consoles isn't as wide as some people want/believe.

even then, all Sony would have to do is drop a God Of War or Spidey teaser and they'd wait. That's how strong their brand is in the console world. It is what it is

probably. but maybe underestimating the buying power, and lack of patience with teenagers waiting on this. They dont really practice patience as much as us old folks

they know they not beating Playstation overall, they won't admit it of course, but they know.

They just want to remain profitable, which they are, and do better than the X1. Both of those are reasonable and achievable

Sony just has a greater mindshare of consoles at this point. Almost 30 years. It's hard for MS to top that. They just have to keep trying to gain relevance outside the US/UK
