I only have two concerns:
1. Does this mean we get Spidey in the Sony films?
2. Will Spidey still be suffering from PTSD from Tony's death or can the character finally get to stand on its own?
  1. Not right away at least but maybe down the line based on Feige's comments
  2. No, he is still Tony's honorary son. lol

IIRC Feige wants this new Spidey movie to be less reliant on the MCU and it'll center more on Spidey and his world.

Hopefully they can continue negotiating on a long term deal. Otherwise, these movies will probably be written in a way to send Holland off to the Sonyverse and leave the MCU behind.

Or

This movie gives Marvel time to let Apple scoop up the movie studio so they can actually have some decent content on their streaming service, the rights revert back to Marvel for free and we can dead the rigamarole all together, no politics, no restrictions on the best characters that they wanna reserve for shytty movies.

That was the plan all along. Him being Ironman's protege made the most sense for integrating him into the MCU. All the fumbles with the WMD level tech being handed over to him is was meant to point out how ready he IS NOT to be "Parker industries" Spider-man yet, he needs to grow up and then be his own version of what Tony saw in him, which was someone, something BETTER, someone who's legacy didn't also include being a merchant of war trying to undo the damage he caused.

The only thing holding that being done properly back was Sony not lending Marvel the characters that they wanted to sit on for their content.

1. We’re 100% getting Tom Holland Spider-Man/Venom/carnage/Morbius crossovers

2. Feige himself said before all the drama that SM3 would be a Spider-Man movie based in the MCU, but with no Stark/avenger crutch, so all those people cheering that it was good sony took him back so they can now get a real Spider-Man movie looked dumb, because they were getting that already but with actual good writing from Feige & Marvel

:comeon:

Part of the new deal is Spider-Man can appear in both “universes” according to Feige, you honestly believe they are making all of these standalone films based on Spider-Man villains with no intention to have Spider-Man in them, Cmon breh

If Fiege has creative control, yes. They'll finish up spidermans saga then pass it on to Sony to fukk it up plus there's 2 spiderman, they could use miles for the MCU.

Exactly.

E.D.I.T.H. and Mysterio wreaking havoc with Tony's tech was going to naturally lead him away from Stark tech and on to him making stuff that works to his advantage without having things like world breaking drones and instant kill mode spider suits. Not to mention Stark industries being a publicly traded company... they gonna have to stop fukking with him until his name gets cleared, he can't wait around for that.

Him losing the tech and having to go back to making his own opens the door for him the symbiote to cross paths. Maybe veer Venom into the direction of an adaptation of Separation Anxiety.

nikka!!!!!!!!!!!! :mindblown::damn::ohlawd::wow::gladbron::whoo:

Eddie loses the suit, it get's attracted to and ends up bonding with Spider-man until he decides to shake it off (shout to the Bell tower easter egg in FFH) and it comes crawling back to Eddie with a jealous vendetta, cept it has the Spider symbol now.

That would be fukking perfect, these nikkas need to pay me lol, let Sony have producers credits on those, but keep Feige in the mix to maintain continuity so that it can count toward their rights, while they have them.
