Sega went out of console making business after selling a little over 9 million dreamcast, nintendo sold 13 million wii-u’s globally. So he’s right, almost no one owned a wii-u.

Now to repurpose those games on the switch at full price is another story

From a Nintendo legacy preservation standpoint, the Wii-U is honestly the best thing Nintendo ever released. From the NES through the Wii-U, damn near everything they ever made was able to be purchased.
