This is not an official announcement by any means, but I do think it is noteworthy. The few sources who yesterday thought Jimbo Fisher could still potentially come back now don’t believe that he can or will. Additionally, they do not believe a search will be too drawn out. The top names I am hearing remain Willie Taggart and Justin Fuente.-----Bud Elliot

Once Taggart is HC they will come back. Jimbo is trying to be a dikk and make it hard for FSU, but it will backfire.
Jimbo is really fukking with FSU. I can't believe this man is continuously lying to his players and fans 
its disgusting. How anyone can claim to be an FSU fan yet continue to support Jimbo is beyond me. The longer this thing takes the more candidates we miss out on. Campbell from Iowa St just signed a contract extension, Oregon might lock up Taggart, etc...
And rescheduling ULM was a dumb move. And the Jimbo call in show tonight was another dumb move by this administration. FSU needs to get him outta here by thursday... Come on FSU wake up!!!! Jimbo out Taggart in!!!!!

Sources don’t expect Jimbo Fisher to return to Florida State
Multiple sources within Florida State University have told Tomahawk Nation that they do not expect Jimbo Fisher to return, but rather to take the Texas A&M job. An announcement could come Thursday.
-Things are progressing at such a rate that sources are now expressing doubt about Fisher coaching the season finale against Louisiana Monroe.
-If Fisher does not coach the season finale, sources believe Odell Haggins, the associate head coach/defensive tackles coach, would serve as the interim.
-As we’ve been reporting, Florida State has been doing little to no recruiting for close to a month, and the fruit rotting on the vine finally fell Wednesday night, as three top players pulled their commitments. At the time it was tough to tell whether Florida State was doing this because it didn’t want lame duck assistants to be recruiting for it, as coaching changes were expected, or if the head man was leaving. It now seems clear it was the latter. The recruiting class is falling apart.
-FSU is being proactive with a search committee and firm. It speaks volumes that FSU is not waiting on an official word from Fisher. As discussed below, Oregon’s Willie Taggart and Virginia Tech’s Justin Fuente are top options, per sources close to the search. A background check was done on Taggart Wednesday. Oregon has offered Taggart an extension, and the fact that it is public seems to be an attempt by the Ducks to show that they are serious about attempting to keep the Florida native.

I believe Jimbo had good intentions by trying to see the season thru with his players and make it until Saturday. I think he misjudged A&M's thirstiness. They kept leaking shyt from their end, all on the radio saying it's a done deal, leaking contract details, leaking regent meetings and topics, etc. I don't blame Jimbo for "trying" to do the noble thing, but A&M made it hard to accomplish this week. There's literally no rush to get this over with. Even if Jimbo was to wait until Saturday, we won't lose out on any prospective coaches we want, especially Taggart. Sexton is his agent and there is absolutely no way he allows him to sign that extension with him knowing the temperature of how bad FSU is coveting Willie right now.

Hope the team quits on Jimbo way he quit on FSU this past month fukk him and shame on FSU for that phone call in show last night shyt just exposed how phony and homerish that shyt is.
I don't think Jimbo quit on them. That's why he's still holding on to this mirage. He wanted to finish the season out with his team. The call in show was a necessary evil. Had he not done it, people would be upset. But to stay consistent with his message of "I'm FSU coach today", he went about it as business as usual. If they didn't screen those calls last night and loft softballs, it would have been a very unproductive show with Jimbo trying to spin outta the same question asked 50 different ways.
