Watching Matthew Thomas over there cheesing not giving a fukk Saturday after that bone headed play AND nobody getting in his shyt annoyed me. Jimbo chews Blackman out when WRs fukk up, but didnt take the time to get in Matt's shyt was disheartening. Its no longer "one team....one heartbeat" like in '13-14.
He's been playing much better. I think he was a disappointment but will probably do some things in the nfl with the right team. I hope my Niners get him in the 4th

HOLY shyt!!!! I HOPE THIS IS TRUE. So glad FSU isn't dumb enough to match. Taggart or Strong. Lets get'em.

EDIT: This is fake news. They got reports saying he already turned down TAMU. I fukking hate Jimbo.

CONFIRMED: Jimbo Fisher is staying at Florida State, rejects Texas A&M offer – USA Herald
Nah. I’ll take Safid’s word over anyone’s. Plus never take an article seriously that has “fake news” in the story and Safid’s story dropped 2 hrs after this USA Herald joint dropped

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Got additional information this afternoon (non FSU and non A&M) that provided more confirmation that Jimbo Fisher plans to accept the offer from Texas A&M. It wasn't a direct source but let's say the origin of this information would most certainly be in the loop.

As I noted in the last update, we probably won't get anything definitive until Thursday (Texas BOR meeting) at the earliest. The only exception to that would be if Fisher suddenly changes gears and decides to stay at Florida State. He can't accept the A&M job, and certainly won't go public with wanting to go there, until that contract is in hand and signed.

This situation places Fisher and Florida State a very uncomfortable limbo period for the next couple days. Not sure how either side handles it because he's still the head football coach, he could change his mind, and he's still under contract. And FSU may not know until late Thursday or even Friday (the day before the final game) his status.

I've been asked a lot about coaching candidates should Fisher take the A&M job. I would like to wait a couple more days to make sure this situation plays out the way it looks before doing a Hot Board, but will throw you one name that is consistently making the rounds (and heard from a good source he'll most certainly be on FSU's short list):

----

Warchant is saying he's gone as of now.

Real talk, I'd take Pruitt in a second if he wanted to be HC. I'd be cool with Taggart too, but I'm not 100% sold on him.

I see :mjpls:.

Well hurry up and get it over with. I'm happy if Jimbo leaves. It's best for FSU. We need somebody that can adjust and correct things. Jimbo is way too stubborn. This would be a great luckout for FSU if he leaves considering they are on the hook for his outrageous contract.

Taggart or Strong I'm good. They do well with FL talent. I just hope this doesn't drag out too long.

Whats up with everybody and this "not completely sold" on Taggert narrative? Taggert would have to tell me no twice before I moved on in my search. He can croot, amazing offensive mind, allows his coaches to coach and not micro manage to the point it becomes abbrassive like Jimbo does, he's a black man, and he did wonders at USF. He and TCU coach are the only "homerun" hires I see.

I'm black on both sides, breh. But, I'm not going to front like a dude that has never even won a conference champio

Because he hasn't even won a conference championship.... ANYWHERE. All that stuff is cool. Can you win on a consistent basis? Really, really good coaches win. Especially on the lower levels of college football, and they do it quickly. If you can't win and do so convincingly more times than not -- I don't want you coaching at FSU. I don't give a damn if you're whatever color Kevin Bacon was when he turned into Hollow Man. If we hire Pruitt, Taggart, Jesus and the 12 disciples, and they're not successful, I want them gone. I'd need to see a lot more winning from dude before I'd feel like he was a can't miss. He hasn't stayed in any place for a long period of time in fairness to him -- so as of now -- I'm observing him.

Ok but massa Pruitt won a chip? Wait Cac Pruitt was a head coach before? :ohhh: Taggart has the experience and improves teams. Now if he was at a top school for years than I can agree. But it's impressive to go to these schools where they haven't been good lately to make them relevant. He was on a role at Oregon till the injuries kicked in. Sorry I just wouldn't take Pruitt over Taggart by any means. He hasn't done anything that tells me he would be a better HC.

Top Talent is at FSU. I don't see him failing at all.

He's black that's why. No matter if a white or black person is talking about a black HC, they are always conditioned to see a white man in that position. I mean look at all the over criticism these black HC get. I mean seriously I haven't heard of Texas A&M since the 90's before Sumlin got there. They magically think the Fisher is going to go in there and do a better job. Good luck with that.
