Big visit weekend on deck for Florida State
The FSU staff has six visitors on campus this weekend.
The Florida State coaching staff is gearing up to host six official visitors this weekend in Tallahassee. Here's a preview of what to expect:
4-Star LB
Xavier Peters
West Chester (OH) Lakota West
(6-4, 225)
The Skinny: This has been an interesting week with both the Florida State and Florida coaching staffs expecting Peters to visit this weekend. In the end however it looks like the Seminoles will host him this weekend. Peters is currently committed to Kentucky, but FSU, Miami and UF are all heavily involved. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out, next weekend both UF and Miami are trying to get him in on the final visit weekend.

3-Star WR D’
Marcus Adams
Daytona Beach (FL) Mainland
(6-0, 170)
The Skinny: Adams has been committed to the Seminoles since June. He stuck with his commitment through the transition from
Jimbo Fisher to
Willie Taggart and has not wavered. The staff loves his explosiveness and what he will bring to the offense.

3-Star DT/DE
Jamarcus Chatman
Rome (GA)
(6-2, 256)
The Skinny: The Seminoles didn’t offer Chatman until
Willie Taggart arrived at FSU. Despite the late offer Chatman has a good bit of interest in FSU. This will be his first and only visit to FSU, but the staff will roll out the red carpet and take a big swing at landing him. UNC, Miami and FSU are the main players in his recruitment as Signing Day nears.

4-Star DT
Dennis Briggs
Kissimmee (FL) Gateway
(6-4, 265)
The Skinny: This is a head to head battle with the rival Miami Hurricanes. The FSU defensive staff made a statement yesterday by showing up at Briggs school in full-force for a quick visit before his official visit his weekend. Miami is the perceived leader heading into this important visit.
=================================
3-Star OT
Jalen Goss
Valdosta (GA) Lowndes
(6-7, 265)
The Skinny: When
Greg Frey arrived at FSU from Michigan, he immediately made Goss a priority. Frey offered him within the first week he arrived and about five days later Goss had made his commitment to the ‘Noles. This weekend he’ll be in for an official visit.
=================================
4-Star WR
Joshua Moore
Yoakum (TX)
(6-1, 170)
The Skinny: If he makes it in this weekend it’ll be Moore’s first visit back to FSU since he was on campus in February for Junior Day. If this visit occurs it’ll go a long way in building a relationship between Moore and the new staff at FSU. Moore has scheduled multiple visits to FSU over the past few months and none have come to fruition. FSU is in need of receivers, so we’ll have to see if Moore makes it in this weekend to determine if they’ll have a shot to sign him on Signing Day.
