Espn going full court press to push that Kyrie, Dwight, etc are wrong

Basically, and I do think that will leave an impression on atleast some of the players. Not many places with a platform are in agreement or willing to even entertain the other side of the spectrum.

But their jobs might be on the line so it's to be expected.

"The Monday call included 1968 U.S. gold medalist John Carlos sharing his perspective on social justice then and now, sources said."

Kyrie and Avery joining the pantheon of great athlete activists demanding change for his people.

"Irving, Bradley and the coalition of players want to pursue some concerns further with the league, sources said, including: the investment of resources and ideas of all league constituencies -- from the commissioner's office, ownership level, management and players association -- in social justice reform."

"We are combating the issues that matter most: We will not accept the racial injustices that continue to be ignored in our communities. We will not be kept in the dark when it comes to our health and well-being. And we will not ignore the financial motivations/expectations that have prevented us historically from making sound decisions. (Talk to em :wow:)

"This is not about individual players, athletes or entertainers. This is about our group of strong men and women uniting for change. We have our respective fields, however, we will not just shut up and play to distract us from what this whole system has been about: Use and Abuse.

"We are all fathers, daughters leaders and so much more. So what is our BIG picture? We are in this for UNITY and CHANGE!"

Now we wait for this to be spinned negatively:jbhmm:

In another thread someone pointed to John Carlos as someone that played and protested, turns out John was on the call with them.

"There's this running theory that using the NBA stage is the biggest platform for these players......I'm going to deny that....:comeon:"

:banderas:

"What would I do? I would go back to what the giants over my shoulders would do: what would kareem do? Jim Brown? Ali? What would they do? You know what they'd do? They wouldn't play:unimpressed:"

:wow:

It's like jalen reads the coli and took a shyt on a lot of yall today.

Craig Hodges, John Carlos, Stak and now Jalen agree with Kyrie's movement.

Why yall hate Perk? He's a former player giving you a different perspective. He's close to some of these players.... Just a thought.
Because he has a clear agenda. He's been hating on Kyrie for a while now because Kyrie left Boston + in this case it is very much LeBron vs Kyrie and he's also close to LeBron. He has time and time again said dumb and stupid shyt because he has a personal vendetta against players. Go see how he talks about Steph.
