I don't expect the same team dynamic as we had with Cap and Iron Man leading the charge.



This is why DC got hammered for rushing out a connected universe so early. A vaccuum after MCU's Infinity chapter was inevitable and a perfect time to drop bombs while Marvel takes a step back to world build for their next event.

Imagine if we had properly built up DC crossover movies in the coming years.

Like its been saiid, disney doesnt need him anyway. Although it would be nice to have Feiges involvement, just give the spider-man universe to Lord and Miller who are already under the Sony umbrella and clearly know the character

There's not going to be another 10 year saga. Feige already said they are only doing smaller arcs from now on. 5 years....maybe.

And Spider-Man was never going to be the face of the MCU going forward....they already announced every Phase 4 movie or TV series he wasn't even on the time line.

So nah, the plan was never to have him be that important to the MCU. It sucks they lost him but I'm sure in the back of their minds they probably entertained the thought that it would happen.
