I bought a macbook pro for laptop based development. Was very expensive but worth it. For a windows machine, the xps has nice reviews

my question is should i build it with laravel/drupal or just use wordpress

Checked the playlist and its definitely some interesting stuff but its about learning to program Images and Animations. Id suggest learning the basics of your language first /* I only know Java */ like Variables, If statements, Conditionals, While/for/do loops, Nested Loops and Ifs,Arrays, Methods, Objects and Classes, etc..

He said in the very beginning of the second video "It's not my intention here for you to learn processing, but my intention for you to learn the fundamentals of computation. Those concepts can be transferred to any programming language you'd like to learn in the future"

I hate having to fiddle around with databases . I may have locked myself out and don't know how to regain access. I also may have locked everybody out and won't know until I come into some bullshyt when I get back in the office

I'm thinking one of my scripts messed up a configuration file or something. After running it things got messed up to where the configuration isn't using the right user to log into the database. I'm really hoping it's isolated to me but you know how shyt goes :franchit:

Why is Linux used in IT? Especially when a lot of professional software can't be ran on it (clearly that's more of a hassle for other fields not IT and CS). I'm curious into why I got picked up

I’m not in IT, I’m in web/mobile development.


Linux is used for cloud computing and web services. Any website that uses a backend database or api uses some sort of Linux cloud.
You need to know Linux to configure your server to open up ports, and configure databases.

If you only do front end development, which is just html and JavaScript, you don’t need to know Linux.
