It was great. Relax environment, small team, just mainly setting up accounts and downloading software for the first week.
I read up on it and it seems pretty cool. I`m not a dev but I like having the technical knowledge because Architects like to challenge my designs (Business/Functional design).

Routinely using a small program that I wrote for work to automate calculations.
Right now it's all text-based.

I'm going to spend the next month or two applying to jobs and portfolio building. I'll be working on a messaging program, learn a bit about TCP/IP and the client/server model. I'm thinking about writing the server in C and the client in C# or Java, but to start I'll likely do the server in the same language as the client. If I buckle down it won't take more than a week or two, then I can work on some sort of GUI, probably using Election.
