or will they continue the P2P policy that is outdated and should have been abandoned 8 years ago. Imagine a huge day one game on XO (callofduty) being lag/twitch free and the ps4 version not even working on day one. This is a big big deal sony better invest billions for this imo. Considering both have sharing/help function sonys going to need reliable servers for a lot of shyt.
I find it amusing you'll criticize P2P Matchmaking when XBL has been just that.

Lord knows they need dedicated servers. Online in Halo 4 was lagnificent. Teleporting players was crazy

nikka, you didn't even answer my question in my original OP. You just somehow spinned it positive for Microsoft & XBL. We don't don't even know if XBLG will remain the same price or not. Microsoft just said CURRENT subscriptions will carry over. They didn't say anything about price for new subscriptions. The reason I compared Xbox Live to PC Gaming is because "Xbox Live Gold" is a rip-off compared to "Steam" or even the inferior "Origin". I like how you tried to change the subject by telling me to the other comparisons.
And I'm not a biased fanboy. I've already made it clear if Sony tries to imitate Xbox Live by charging for Online MultiPlayer & access to apps, I'm out on Consoles. I'll just buy an "Alienware X51" or "Steambox" and use that as my Gaming PC/HTPC.

I'm discussing the current XBL setup I was a member of the original as well, and yes they did but they were expensive/unrealistic. Technology has developed 4-5xs since then.
