yall do know the average connection is way below fatboi's connection lol.
nikka, you didn't even answer my question in my original OP. You just somehow spinned it positive for Microsoft & XBL. We don't don't even know if XBLG will remain the same price or not. Microsoft just said CURRENT subscriptions will carry over. They didn't say anything about price for new subscriptions. The reason I compared Xbox Live to PC Gaming is because "Xbox Live Gold" is a rip-off compared to "Steam" or even the inferior "Origin". I like how you tried to change the subject by telling me to the other comparisons.
And I'm not a biased fanboy. I've already made it clear if Sony tries to imitate Xbox Live by charging for Online MultiPlayer & access to apps, I'm out on Consoles. I'll just buy an "Alienware X51" or "Steambox" and use that as my Gaming PC/HTPC.
I sincerely hope the Xbox One is a massive failure. Microsoft fu(ked up game with Xbox Live Gold.
I'm assuming you want sony hubris again, 599 publishers having their own online setup (mgs4) nothing wrong with that
So laggin ass uncharted had ded servers

As long as I'm not paying money for a free service.
Uncharted 3 didn't... .
But every game (allegedly) having Dedicated servers is huge. There's nothing to spin there. I do doubt that every game will be dedicated though. All MS titles will apparently, but I'm sure there will be p2p setups on some the games too. You also can't expect every publisher/developer to let MS have control of their shyt, that's why I don't think every game will use the dedicated servers.
But MS games certainly should and that's a definite plus.
Yea cause dedicated servers would be a "free service"

And ms is for the people ?? What was the point of this thread ? To defend ms? They just did a reveal that pretty much said all we care about Is casual gamers and trying to sell a weak pc that hooks up to my tv. Sony at least is selling a game system
a question, will sony have dedicated servers this is a crucial part of me buying a PS4 over upgrading my PC . and atleast sony is selling a gaming system ? oh so it doesn't only do everything anymore
This is something playstation fanboys will just overlook. Tru Skill Ranking was talked about during he xbox1 reveal and they talked about how they improved on it even more. Lets look at what these dudes wanna cry about after this
na u can keep that pc shyt, just look at how bf3 fukked up they servers by letting people own there own servers, i would much rather let the game developer or publisher provide the servers, i rather have a matching making system that matches players of the same skill together, no a servers noobs and pros jump on together and one team get destroyed, i want good competetive matches
You are extremely biased. You over here talking about how we don't know if XBL prices will stay the same even they they said it would already. Because your bias you want it to appear that what they said, they didn't really say? Thats a sony move, they don't do that over in xboxville. Is that all you wanna cry about? Go get a PC if thats your angle. Games are cheaper there and they'll probably look better. You won't have any of the features XB1 provides, maybe you don't care about that stuff? Yet here you are (shout out to my brother Courtdog)nikka, you didn't even answer my question in my original OP. You just somehow spinned it positive for Microsoft & XBL. Oh, so another person upset at what microsoft is bringing to the table. Anything positive can't be, and everything you guys made up is fact. You guys areDedicated servers are good, but y'all idiots if y'all think all games will have em
Gears of War 3 has dedicated servers. But the truth is XBL didn't need dedicated servers. Gamers on XBL are not complaining about a service that is inadequete. PSN is the place that lost control of its network. Games like call of duty were declared unplayable by the makers themselves. Every AAA title launching with major lag issues, sometimes for as long as a year after release like MGS:Online and LittleBigPlanet. Each longer than a full year to get there online to work properly. Xbox has never had that problem. PS3 heads conveniently never mention this well documented PSN issues but want to talk your head off about XBL unavoidable "instances" of lagAnd? Date has no relevance here. XBL has been P2P since it's inception, and still is to this day.
You don't live in NY, brah
My connection is fine brah.
Why would you doubt it? Cuz ?You still believing that 300000 server cloud processing they told huh....

Developers/Publishers would love to not have to worry about matchupmaking disasters, dedicated servers would be a system wide function not game by game setup. they'd be using azures virtual servers . the one thing publishers might not use is shyt like cloud computing which will probably be too much work on a non exclusive game. it's going to take MS to convince publishers what the possibility can be. forza at e3 is suppose to showcase this according to dan. p2p setups would defeat the purpose of dedicated servers, although i'd imagine they'd be there for "just in case measures"
