Why DC animated tv shows on are on anymore? Seems like they all got canceled
The dumbass who was running the Cartoon Network the past couple years only cared about shows that sell toys. If ya show doesn't do well on the toy market then it dies. Plus he seemed to hate DC stuff and only begrudgingly put shyt on the air. Hopefully the new person in charge takes advantage of the wealth of characters in the DC library and puts some decent cartoons back on.

Cartoon Network using a Marketing strategy from the 90s. :mjlol: Kids don't fukking buy toys anymore, they play video games. They play their Nintendo DSes.

They don't even need their own channel if WB don't want to spend the loot; they could just do the DC stuff like Adult Swim...make it a block of the Cartoon Network once or twice a week that is autonomous from the rest of the network decisions.

you must not have known or been frustrated at why superman was such a goodie goodie all your life.

mos, is the first superman anything to actually give you a full cohesive story on superman.
plus, why he had such high moral character and his awkwardness, socially.
on top of building and redoing the few little good.
that was ever gotten right about superman on film as well.

it was top notch, and I hate any and everything dc.
I don't even read the shyt and jim lee is over there.
only shyt I consistently tolerate is the dark knight series films and the dc animated adult style cartoons.

mos, was a great fukk'n movie and finally put everything in realistic place.
for anyone who is a casual viewer to like about superman.
you must not have grown up with the mantra of superman is phoney.
how old were you when they unveiled that wack villain who killed superman?

you could not have been to old.
you must have grown up watching superman in the batman style cartoon.

if you are older.
there is no way you could not have liked mos.

it is the first anything with superman.
that finally made some fukk'n sense, out of anything dealing with superman.

Wow you're the courtdog/ps4 of Superman huh?
Captain America 2 was more of a "superman" movie than Man of Steel

They better off making their own channel

it means NOTHING lol

plus, if that was the case, they'd all love Superman Returns, but of course they don't.
It is just such a goofy thing to say because (and I really liked The Winter Soldier) but Cap and them had multiple shoot-outs and shyt in heavily populated areas and seemed perfectly fine with crashing nuke filled helicarriers into Washington DC so the mass destruction/saving bystanders shyt doesn't loat.
And you can't compare Cap working overtime to save his best friend Bucky with Superman killing Zod, a stranger who killed his father.

how in the fukk are captain America and superman anyway comparable past being superheros.
only similarity of cap and supes is.
they were created in an era none of us grew up in.
superman is the hardest superhero to write for after his creation in this Gen, ever.

btw, your analysis of Man of Steel, specifically the fact that the made lois lane NOT a dumb damsell in distress was on point. Her 1930s esque idiocy was insulting at this point, considering she's a pulitzer prize winning investigative reporter...the film should've gotten MORE credit for that alone...as well as, as you put it, writing in and OUT the phantom zone which is quite antiquated at this point.

MOS is a great flick

back to this reply; Superman IS hard to write for..even in FINAL CRISIS they had superman in another dimension fighting ANTI MONITORS because his power is so OP the idea that he wouldn't defeat darkseid is also absurd...he's like a giant walking plot hole that doesn't get a 'batman' pass by fans.

DC is a bit more fight based I would say and Marvel is more story based, although both do fighting and story pretty well

I've always leaned more towards Marvel, as they just have a better cast of characters but Batman prolly ties with Pete for my favorite character

I never understood the reason cartoon network would fukk over DC properties when they themselves are owned by time warner completely anyways knowing full and well how corporate synergy works. It just makes no sense. You have no lineup go to the in house comic guys to create award winning popular cartoons to make a dedicated programs that plays on your cable channel. but cancel them if they cannot sell toys to kids because you get a kickback from the toy sales cuts? in this day and age who buys toys? DC should have had their own adult swim block. Imagine seeing mature rated DC animated movies and shows that are not for kids? It would work...
