So why exactly did the broncos take a knee with 35 seconds left/2timesouts+manning?

Peyton is just a great regular season QB. 3rd and 5 he opted to run and with 30 sec. left he took a knee. He has 7 one and dones in the playoffs and we hear these same excuses every year. He has two monster wideouts and a poor man's Welker. If he would have dropped back to pass with 30 seconds left and didn't like the look then he could have thrown it away and then took the knee, but to not even try in regulation is crazy.

 And don't give me this "it's on Fox" crap either. You all have been on his jock all year for him calling plays in the 11 game win streak so don't try to bail him out now.

The fact that you're now calling Thomas and Decker (who did shyt before this year and both had more yards this year than they had in their entire career) monster wideouts, and calling Stokley (who would be out of the league if not for Peyton) a poor man's Welker... Well that tells you all you need to know about Peyton. I mean you just called 36 year old Brandon Stokley a poor man's Wes Welker.

---

Broncos should have saved that conservative playcalling for that last defensive drive and went into super conservative deep prevent.

3rd and 7 is eh. Close either way. They run and take a big chunk of time of the clock. They pass and unless they hit it, everyone criticizes that decision too if the Ravens get the ball back and score.

Kneeing with 31 seconds left has never been Manning's style so it's either his arm wasn't strong enough or someone else made the call.

What y'all forgot is if they go for the fg and miss they automatically lose the game! So of course John fox didn't go for it!
Wait they could have tried for the fg AND still gone to overtime? :ohhh: I wonder if John fox knew that

HORRIBLE CALL by Fox. I don't care, you have to try. This is the Playoffs, there is time and you have the timeouts. 1 Big pass and boom your in FG range possibly. To just go to overtime was terrible and he will be judged on that. With that said, I don't care what anyone says. Peyton did not lose this game even though he threw that terrible Pick.

The defense loss the game when they allowed that huge bomb from Flacco. Peyton did what he had to do to win the game but the Denver Defense who has been playing so well did not want to win that game. This was a case of that that Bye Week team coming flat and defensively they were flat. But that was terrible by Fox to not try anything with 30 seconds left.

So the Broncos yesterday had 30 sec and 2 timeouts with PEYTON MANNING as their QB and kneeled the ball.

The Falcons had 25 sec and 1 timeout with Matt Ryan as their QB (granted they had to go for it)

FIRE JOHN FOX NOW, that shyt was inexcusable

He has to get fired. This makes him look like an even bigger idiot.

So if Fox is on the sidelines like, "We're gonna sit on it and take it to OT." You think Peyton is in the huddle like "F*ck Kilmer!"
