So why exactly did the broncos take a knee with 35 seconds left/2timesouts+manning?

So if Fox is on the sidelines like, "We're gonna sit on it and take it to OT." You think Peyton is in the huddle like "F*ck Kilmer!"
:why:

This ain't Varsity Blues.:rudy:

I'm pretty sure if Fox said that and Peyton replied "give me one snap and see what we can get and if its dead I'll throw it away" he could have swayed him or at least made him consider it, but maybe he did and Fox overruled it. He settled for OT when you are not even guaranteed to get the ball.

Man like we're all saying....they had TWO timeouts and a HALL OF FAME quarterback behind center at home. All Peyton had to do was be in the shotgun and go from there. Hell you could get sacked and the time runs out and you go to overtime :mindblown:

Atlanta got the ball with pretty much the same amount of time as the Broncos did with 2 timeouts left on their final possession and wound up winning the game

Its a coach's decision, period and we can all agree it was a poor one. He coached to not lose instead of coaching to win.

Matt Schaub with 3 timeouts and 24 sec before the half just drove down the field and put the kicker in range for a 55 yd field goal in which he kicked and made.

Two games now in the this playoffs alone proving that was a TERRIBLE DECISION:snoop:
