where you have the possibility of getting the ball first, and scoring a TD...and winning

and even if the Ravens get the ball first, they still have to score a TD to actually win.

By going to overtime, the broncos effectively gave themselves a better chance to win the game.

This is a dumb answer (no offense to you) because in hindsight Peyton threw an interception anyway. If a coach is so scared his qb is going to throw an INT, why even have him in the game?

John Fox coached that game like Marty Schottenheimer: with both hands around his neck. Their playcalling was suspect all game long. They kept running the ball up the gut instead of just letting Manning air it out and that kneel with 31 seconds left was the culmination of that. Simply unacceptable.
