Ok story time:

I am in school to better my life. My skillset is in technology and communication. I am studying cloud computing and focusing on Amazon Web Services. Amazon, for all the amazing products they provide, are an awful company and a peak example of capitalism run amok. Knowing this, ingratiating myself within the ecosystem is the clearest cut way I see to take care of myself and my family in the coming years. I can hate the player but im going to eat off the game as long as I don’t do any dirt. Amazon is going to Amazon and unfortunately they offer things I cant find locally.

We use products every day that have some murky ass histories. If you drive a Volkswagen its a prime example. We pick our battles based on what gets us to where we want to be in life. If you live on a land where people make decisions on your behalf, tax you, legislate your behavior, and regularly create cool things with your tax dollars that you absolutely should want to partake in, you should also have a stake in it’s politics. Pragmatic voting is the name of the game and your POV is some petulant bullshyt meant to fake-highmindedly put black peoole in a better position . Newsflash: most of us just want to have a say.
