It's not about the revenue. It's about the payroll and the restrictions it has now under the new CBA. The threshold the Yankees are trying not to go over is more or less a hard cap. The Tigers' payroll is $120 mil. Ours is $195. The Yankees don't wanna go over $189 mil because it fukks them over in the draft.

This team isn't appealing and has choked in the playoffs the last 2 years . We drew 3.5 mil this year so don't act like we fell off a cliff and another thing is we have been in the playoffs 17 of 18 years. So the playoffs isn't as big a deal as it used to be its all about the ws
