Its not like these guys arent trying they just shrink against good pitching. This is the type of lineup the Yanks have been putting together the past 10 years. They like having guys that hit home runs. The Yankee execs sees that as a way to get people in seats. Problem is its prone to collective slumps at the worst times aka when the pitching gets tougher and you need to make contact in big spots.

for better or worse, this is true...he woulda went on a tirade in the media, berated cashman and fired/hired him multiple times and asked when delmon young is set to become a free agent and if not can they trade for him.

next season woulda been a vastly different team, whether we woulda been any better or more "clutch" with RISP is different story but we most def woulda been a much different team whereas with cashman and hal we will be the same pretty much minus 1 or 2 players...
