Why are you a quasi democrat? All you do is hand wring about process, optics and kiss the ass of corporations. If the Coli existed in the 60s you'd be complaining about sit ins being too disruptive to business and claiming bus boycotts hurt black people more than white people.
Biden is currently supporting the strike and has made it clear he will not implement the Taft-Hartley Act to stop it. My only issue with the Longshoreman president is that a few months ago he claimed Biden would implement Taft-Hartley and there was never any indication he would. Biden has gotten virtually no credit for constantly supporting unions but I don't care. What's right is right. I don't care what their salaries are. These guys got worked to death (literally) during covid to keep profits up for corporations, all the CEOs and corporate interests got far more significant financial benefits from their work...and now they're pulling the rug. I respect it because what's the alternative? You either pay them or tank multiple businesses and get a bunch of corporate people fired. I respect it.
