If Trump was in office, it would be played right now as an example of how he's an amazing dealmaker and convinced everyone to come to the table and hammer things out by force of personality alone. But because Biden's in office, it's played as the Democrats getting lucky and dodging a bullet.

Other than old Bush in 1991 and young Bush in 2008, I feel like every single economic cycle has gone the same way.
