According to reports, the union and shippers have reached an agreement that includes a 61.5% wage increase over 6 years.
Final details will be negotiated in the coming months.
The longshoremen are expected to return to work tomorrow.

Every port does not operate the same with equal opportunity to get overtime. And at a certain point you start living at work just to say you make a certain number.In my line of work I deal with them.. Yes they fukkin do pull down over 200k with overtime… if you want to be technical then the majority make well over $150k with overtime.. and yes some of the ones who make a base salary of 60k.. it’s the OT that push them over
