I hate the hyperbole from those who don't believe. Ive seen the new buildings, the new church van so the elderly can get to and from church and other places. And white God? Jesus was a jew from the middle east, where is white God coming from. Whats mental slavery about loving your neighbor, being slow to anger, and to love your wife like you love the church?

Google it. The average salary for a pastor is 28k. That ain't exactly Jay Z status. To believe pastors are rolling in Bentley is like saying every rapper is rich. Are there crooks making money sure posing as men of God? Just like there crooks in the record business, politics, etc.

God forbid if parents invested part of this money into high yield account for their kids. Bad enough blacks were cheated out of wealth for generations and now they donate money to organizations with tax exemptions who sell pastors dvd series and fish dinners at community events. Would have definitely helped with the robo foreclosures many Blacks experienced during the height of the recession 2006/07.

Because they are normally drug fronts to legitimize laundering. Same as the plethora of Asian laundromats on the same block. The night clubs and salons that close or reopen under new names or "management" every few years. Churches are tax exempt and most expenses can be written off.
At a bootleg church, $25 x 50 members for 52 weeks in a year is way higher than the average salary. Not to mention those who faithfully tithe, love offerings, fish/chicken dinner proceeds and the free donations form clothing and food from businesses. The state of the church is sad. Food ministries are one of the few redemptions.
Never cared for the church and my homie who was assistant to the pastor said what he learned made him sick. And he was one of those faithful members who grew up in church 3 x a week, all day Sun.

at the responses in this thread. First off that number seems a bit skewed....how did they come up with it? Second anything that has to do with offerings and donations can be fraud. I know of churches that PAY to host a service in a school auditorium or cafeteria and if you read the story on a lot of mega churches they had humble beginnings. Why hate on a pastor's hard work and blessings? With that said there are a lot of frauds and con men in playing the role of pastor 
but don't let the minority make you judge the minority. I love how some of you nikkaz talkin bout pray to a cac Jesus
