I thought Waka was big, how am I supposed to know?

I don't listen to most of that down south garbage.

Anyway, Ross should have became a household name with this album. Wayne did it with the Carter 2, Hov did it with Vol. 2, and T.I. did it with The King.
why would you think an artist called waka floka flame would blow up? a name like that indicates he does not take his craft seriously.

Nobody said Ross was going to sell like that tho, his fans knw wat type of fans he have, im around them all day, they dont buy shyt and they never gon start, I have lil homies and cousins and my lil brother never brought a cd in they life, but they hugh fans of a bunch of Ross, these people aint buy none of that shyt, and like I said when talk about Ross taking jeezy spot, we talking bout on the streets, same way Gucci took how spot, we saying he fell of cause we remember how great he was in 04-05 and the movement he had, and he dont have close to dat no more, jeezy went from selling 2mill to not going gold, Ross has gained fans over his career not loss em like jeezy, yall talking bout this the time he was suppose to go to the next level, but from yall dumb ass standards, none of his fans thought he was going to some great number like Wayne, jay, kanye or drake, they all have a bunch of white fans, go to a Ross show and it gon be mostly black(same wit jeezy) people

You saying Jeezy fell off 7 years ago?

Which is it? People are not buying records or Jeezy lost 1.5 million fans?

Well, its not about Jeezy, because he hasn't reach super stardom. Ross reach goes way further than Jeezy's reach. You can't tell me all this momentum Ross had was just to claim the streets?

Ross had the right formula his :duck: and musical production game was on lock. Ross never went platinum, and Ross put out some huge records. Jeezy's biggest record was probably Soul Survior with Akon. Its crazy what Jeezy accomplished with much less.

But Ross sales have increased with each CD release, and what makes it great is that he hasnt sold out to the CAC pop crowd like Wayne, Jay Z, Kanye, etc to do it...

Ross and Nicki flopped. You know why? Because they aren't selling what they should be given their supposed placement in rap.

To put it into perspective Ross is at the peak of his career, and only outsold Nas by 80k....Nas, a guy with zero commercial viability that came out 20+ fukking years ago.

People on this board said Jeezy's career was over. Yet he outsold Ross....but Ross's numbers are spun into some kinda win. The fukk is going on here? :what:

People pick and choose when sales matter.

And Nicki flopped because she went out of her way to cross over, and the sales did not reflect her effort.

Fred.

Ross really hurt your feelings didn't he?

IF....big IF....Ross didn't do the type of numbers he should have, it's not because he's not as big as we know he is. It's because he's consistently dilluted himself and tried to build his label over himself. He just put out MMG v. 2 like a month ago. That's sold 200k copies to date, units that would've added onto his own sales. He's thrown away hit singles on mixtapes. Dropping dozens of songs instead of pushing one big hit. Every one of his artists are on all the songs.

There's likely more money in Ross' approach though. What you guys don't realize is that he ain't eating off GFID sales. It's still got Slip N Slide listed as a label, along with Def Jam. He's eating off Wale's sales, Meek's sales, MMG's compilation sales, concert sales, Ciroc sponsorship. He's the millionaire, not me, so what do i know?

lol 19 pages of people claiming Ricky's career is over for selling more than any of his previous albums. People are fukking morons.

no one saying his career is over...what we ARE saying is what a massive fail on his part and his fans part for holding his/their nuts on Jeezy to only come out and still finish 2nd fiddle on the project that was supposed to put him over the top...let him/them tell it

Lol, Ross fans just post the dumbest shyt. His sales have not increased with each release that's a lie. Go look at the numbers.

This thread is just riddled with shyt like this by Ross fans, as is each Ross thread. His fans spin as many lies as Ross does.

So I guess Ross record touchn you with user for the streets?! Sit the fukk down. Ross can't crossover because he can't. All his crossover tracks are duds. Ross wishes he could make a lollipop or a whatever you like.

I also find it hilarious that Ross fans think Ross has ever been on Jeezys level. Jeezy has platinum plaques. Ross doesn't. Ross at his peak equals jeezy at how lowest. Let that sink in.
