:jawalrus:
Rick Ross was never a big dog in this Hip Hop business...his :duck: about drug wars and him "running" hip hop made his stans actually believe he was some kind of hip hop icon. :pachaha:
i said it b4...... ross lies so much that subliminally his stans have digested it as their own reality show:jawalrus: by saying ross got the streets on lock and other blahblahblah ish

when anyone points out the actual facts or actual reality about williams career and impact they come up with all these reaching:duck:....... the latest is why gfid is a flop that prob wont even go gold after millions in marketing and months of calling it a legendary project:heh:

running the streets means absolutely nothing as they've been poisoned for 10 plus years and are basically chickens running around with their heads cut off.

sure Ross gets played in the hood. so do other acts i don't give a fukk about.

:jawalrus: you guys being ridiculous . Sound like pr people trying to explain figures and shyt. Nicki and ross both flopped happy but nicki still outperforming Ross and gets radio play everywhere . Def jam made a big deal about Ross they expected big things with all these listening sessions claiming it's a classic , according to this board he's running the rap game :lolbron: it's clearly drake but that's another issue. Ross has no cross over appeal and doesn't have the streets locked that's a random term you guys throwing around .
Ross doesn't sell singles gets a million features no big tours it's time you guys accept it he's not a big deal . He must care about sales or he wouldn't release these horrible ass songs for girls knowing bytches don't feel him like that .jeezy ft ne-yo >>> all Ross attempts at cross over hits
Lol of course he controls his own mixtape releases Wth kind of point is that
Banks >>>>> Ross lyrics content everything

Nicki and Ross are not flops by industry standards when artists this year are barely cracking gold. You guys make up figures and expectations and when artists fail to meet them, you label them flops. It's also obvious that you don't even care what insiders in the industry have to say about the current market.

How many artists period are pushing 200K or above first week in 2012? How many of them are rappers?

A lot of you shouldn't even be discussing sales especially when basing figures on your own observations and basically just making up figures because it's what "You" think he should be doing. Logic is lost on some of you because some can't seem to take a release for what it is.

I'm not riding for jeezy, never bought his shyt and actually bumped ross's music alot more. But ross has been crowned as the new don,and he cant deliver. By the way the way,i didnt name ANY of them songs based off of what someone said directly. Just interjecting some new evidence that ross is not ready for the throne and also pointing out how limited his fanbase is. Also like i told others,he has tried to cross over and failed time and time again, due to his limited abilities as a hiphop artist.

The run he had these past few years people thought he was gonna reach the next level. They was also screaming he was killing the competition, especially Jeezy. So to do Nas or Big Sean numbers should have his fans concerned. They figured he was close to becoming a megastar. T.I. is the only trap rapper to reach that level of stardom. I thought it was odd for Ross to get all this hype and he hasn't gone platinum yet.

Nas or Big Sean numbers??? Ross outsold Nas by almost 80k and he more than doubled Big Seans fw numbers.

AGAIN I ASK...

What reality do u ppl live in?? I can all but guarantee that unless they've gone platinum in the past we will never see another platinum selling rapper album wise again.

TI didn't go plat with his last album and its a fairly good chance Trouble Man ain't seeing plat either

103 ain't going plat

Hell Nicki barely made it and she sold out just to do that.

Turn ur blinders off and peep the reality of the 2012 music industry

T.I. already peaked. This is like expecting Ludacris to go plat in 2012. This is Ross turn.

He's been on a 3 album run where people believed the hype, and still aint go platinum. He supposed to kill the competition, TM 103 will sell more copies. I think things would have turned out a little bit differently if he wasn't a former cop.

Ross and Nicki flopped. You know why? Because they aren't selling what they should be given their supposed placement in rap.

To put it into perspective Ross is at the peak of his career, and only outsold Nas by 80k....Nas, a guy with zero commercial viability that came out 20+ fukking years ago.

People on this board said Jeezy's career was over. Yet he outsold Ross....but Ross's numbers are spun into some kinda win. The fukk is going on here? :what:

People pick and choose when sales matter.

And Nicki flopped because she went out of her way to cross over, and the sales did not reflect her effort.

Fred.
