Like i said in another thread. Ross is in trouble. Ross has quality albums but only nikkas fukk with him like that. If you look at his singles,none a nd i mean NONE of the ones geared toward the ladies really blew up like that. The most popular one is probaly ASTON MARTIN MUSIC. Which is basically a drake song that didnt do much for ross politically. Only a small fraternity of people know how dope ross's recent mixtapes and solo albums have been.
I'm not gonna talk chart #'s just what i've seen dealing with people.
To bytches he's just another guerrilla black. Where's his club banger/or love song to the hoes?
He doesnt have a keep ya head up,brenda's got a baby,i get around,how do you want it,california love.
He doesnt have a big poppa,one more chance rmx,hypnotize,mo money mo problems,fukkin you tonight
He doesnt have a i need love,jingling baby,around the way girl,loungin remix,doin it
He's supposed to be the don and is failing.
Touchin you is meh. That's not a masterful performance by ross,like some of the songs i just mentioned. He's just gettin by on the song,no real effort.
hold me back is one of his weaker STREET SONGS.
sONGS LIKE fresh off the boat are more memorable. The album is the weakest ross solo project since rise to power. He better get it together
dog ross dont make them type of songs and he cant, those are not the songs his music is catered to, he makes music for the streets and bytches and nikkaz in the street knw exactly how great his music is, they bump that shyt so fukkin much, i really dont knw where think his fanbase is, but its not the same as these mainstream rappers, dude has the same fans as gucci, (old jeezy from trd to tm102), waka, boosie, these type of nikkaz, and when we said he was running shyt we was talkin bout the streets, and when we said he was takin jeezy spot we was talkin bout in the streets

So how can one man do 233 with no big singles and its a win and great shyt but the next man does 225 with no big singles and his career is over according to some posters up here, mind you the nikka who just did 225 never did over 180 in a first week ever.
Another thing is I dont recall any poster saying Ross has commercial hits as big as the ones you mention in your post

If ross didnt make an attempt to cross over then what you're saying would have merit. But since he has,your stance is weakened. When you hop on a pop star's album and put him on your single then you cant CLAIM who he's NOT targeting. Yes the sreets is his core market BUT he tried to cross and couldnt do it. Touchin you is trash,his flow and lyrics are forgettable,soulless and dripping with boredom. It shows in the song quality. Look up any of the songs i named in a recent post from other artist and compare their performance to ross's touchin you nonsense. He's just not ready to be the don. The bad part about is people can't even be consistent. Different criteria is used against an artist that is not liked. Anything Ross does will somehow be flipped into a loss. Someone even said Wale selling more than Ross is a loss. Really? That's like saying Jay Z failed when Kanye was outselling his albums.

At the end of the day Ross has a lot of fans that don't buy albums. I know a lot of people who love Ross, but have never spent a dime on him. They don't buy music period, so yea he gets a lot of hype, but they aren't investing in him.
On the other hand I know fewer Jeezy fans, but they actually buy his album. I'm not saying which one is better, or any of that shyt but I have a feeling this is a big factor in those sales.
