I disagree. Ain't nobody in that league worried about being "embarrassed" by Lin. Lin act like a good 10%(or more) of the league aint played overseas before. They know Asians can ball. Lin act like he the only Asian ever played in the NBA. Lin act like he really all that good. If anything, if you have any pride as a defender in the league, then the only thing worth worrying about being embarrassed about is not being able to contain someone who has no left and constantly picks up his dribble. If there's anything you should be embarrassed about, its that you weren't able to get at least 1 steal on your stat line while guarding him.

Coming from a large asian demographic here in the bay area, i can tell you that ALL ASIANS, even those who didn't give a crap about hoops were ALL INTERESTED in the Jeremy Lin story.

and I dont get all the criticism of Lin's game and how he's struggling this season. It's like nobody cares to acknowledge the fact that it's Kevin McHale coaching the team. Because his track record is so proven, huh?

They could've been Japanese, they could've been Vietnamese, they could've been Korean....it doesn't matter, they're in the crowd and they look like him, soooo just cut the camera to them.

You're acting simple. It was the novelty effect. Of course the camera's wont show blacks or whites in the crowd when they score. That's an everyday occurrence. Ain't that many asians in the league breh. But I remember clearly in the late 90's when venus and serena had just came on the scene, the caneras would pan to blacks in the crowd cheering when venus them hit an ace or a winner.
