He hasn't played in the NBA in 2 years and hasn't played pro ball in a year and a half, and in that time overseas he was a step slow and averaged 9 points a game. Countless opportunities to play came albeit in lesser leagues for him to show what he can do and he passed them up. THOSE are facts. Wanting him to come back just cuz he was that nikka growing up that everyone modeled themselves after doesn't mean he can still do it.
2 weeks away from 37 and people think he'll turn back the clock like he was cryogenically frozen and shyt.
That 9 points that he averaged is double what Steve Blake averaged this year
Man. You could pull a high/drunk Allen iverson out of an casino, suit him up and tell him go play and he would DESTROY Steve Blake with no practice, no warmup, no nothing.
@ John Lucas the 3rd being in the league playing major minutes for a 1 seed and AI can't even land on a roster
The point y'all missing is this; yeah Blake, Fisher, and Lucas are bums, but they play their role. Coach will never set plays for them, and they got strict instructions on what they supposed to do on the court, which they follow. Could Iverson do the same, because no team is paying Iverson to jack up 10-15 shots a game and play no defense.

The problem with AI, just like with Steve Francis is he lost his quickness, once that happens he cant create good shots for himself and his shooting percentage would probably be under 40%, and we all know it was never good to begin with.

That's not the point. Your Lakers would still get dusted by the Thunder. At least Blake knows his role. AI not wanting to accept his is what got him pissing in garbage cans at casinos instead of being the Juwan Howard of some squad.
