brehs, the effects from this strict diet is pretty incredible. no lie but i see differences already. i haven't seen a bloated looking gut all week :ohmy:

i eat about 3-4 chicken breasts a day. in total, i consume roughly 1600-1900 calories a day and i'm fairly active. im seeing results and its only been 5 days. real talk. sounds crazy but i swear its true

I grill in bunches too. So I'll buy 2 packs of chicken (about 5+ pounds worth) and grill it all at the same time so I can just microwave the leftovers for later use. It's tedious always cooking for each and every meal so cook in bulk

dont change a thing and stay closer to the 1900 number than 1600

a few lbs of pure fat loss are extremely noticeable, trust the method :hbk:

If I'm trying to bulk up, should I be only eating ~1900cal a day??? :blink:

if your lifts are improving, dont change a thing :vince: but keep in mind at your current size bulking and cutting are competing things

and cutting = toning

looking good vs what the scale says is the question you gotta ask yourself :wot:

ideally, when you get below 12% you can just clean bulk indefinitely. Cutting as a process is easier than bulking but losing fat and gaining fat is a time consuming process

id get lean first and then bulk rather than a potential yo yo cycle

eitherway, like i said if ur numbers are going up. Youre still gaining so dont worry until you stall :yeshrug:

and unlike me at the end of my initial cut, you have a bigger base

i finally built a decent base so im cutting again too, then ill be doing the same indefinite clean bulk :jawalrus:

I've been reading up on how to obtain abs, abs myths, ab diets, etc

The general idea is to burn more calorie than u ingest. I get that. But i feel like the calorie i burn arent distributed well. For example, I play soccer competitively. Just installed some calorie counter app today. For break, I ingested 770 calories alone. I had half an apple (40 calories), 1 egg on two slices of whole wheat bread (290 calories total), and a Met-Rx big 100 protein bar (370 calories). I haven't eaten since then, which was around noon, and I'm STARVING. I took an hour nap (idk how many calories are burned during that) and I have a soccer game later tonight that'll last about 60 min. 60 min of competitive soccer burns about 840 calories of fat. Before soccer tho, I'm going to pump some weights at the gym.

My point is, how the hell is it possible to have a negative caloric intake without still being starving and given the amount of physical activity I'm enduring. My rigorous soccer game tonight will basically only burn off my breakfast from this morning and I haven't even had lunch or dinner yet. Lets say me pumping weights negates one of those meals. What about the other one? I have no more time for physical activity today and I'll end the day with still a positive caloric intake

Seriously, how is obtaining abs trough negative caloric intake possible if you don't have an eating disorder or something?

I don't think calories is the problem just cutting the fat and staying away from from foods with higher unnecessary fats. Pretty much in the same boat as you. Not saying you shouldn't keep track of your calories, but To get abs, it's burning the fat from your body so that the abs appear in accordance to core exercises.

had this guy at my gym yesterday that denied the excistence of abdomial hyperthrophy, he said the only thing that will make your abs show is a low fat %. now i know that IS the most important but i'm pretty sure your ab muscles can actually grow a little too, right?

Sure, they can grow but if there's a layer of fat over them, then you're not going to be able to see them.
