To make matters worst, its not interconference game, so the fans in Miami wont be able to see the big 3 vs big 3 person unless they go to SA.

Fans in Miami barely went out to go see the Big Three that won em a title last night. That lil crowd they had wasn't due to the frustration of not seeing Tim Duncan counter the Molly they took.

@tremonthustler1 baseball is a completely different sport .people expect players to rest the play more games and more back to backs you can manage people's minutes in the nba you can't do that in baseball . They have a deep ass team and the season just started play them less minutes . Now say they lose all these games he gives the stars off costing them hca . Now they in la , Memphis or okc for a game 7 or even Miami in the finals . If they lose them can I laugh at pop for being a bad coach if the goal is to win a title

In baseball, especially in the AL, I have the DH. I don't need to put you on the field. Basketball doesn't have the luxury of only sending you out there for free throws to kinda compare.

As I said before, losing that game is something Pop is willing to risk. To him, he'd rather have play on the road with a team that has something left in the tank than play at home with a gassed squad. Not everyone will agree with him (Stern clearly doesn't), but that is Pop's prerogative. If Stern wants to manage minutes his way, tell him to get his resume out and go on some coaching interviews. Maybe an owner will see it his way.

Some Lakers fans may be LWO 4 life, and some may go to a particular game and pay a particular price based on who they're playing & what stars are on that opposite team. You could say that that Spurs team that dressed last night is equivalent to maybe the Raptors or Bobcats.. If it was a Heat/Raptors game than the fans would be paying way less for that ticket than for Heat/Spurs or maybe would not have chose to buy the ticket at all and go to a different game later on.

Exactly, it's a victimless crime. The people that are paying for tickets to see Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker are going to games in San Antonio. Pop does this in ROAD games where people are paying to see the other guys win.

If Stern wants to punish this "injustice" to the fans, he also needs to punish:
Teams that rest players going into the playoffs
Teams that make poor draft selections
Teams that overpay underperforming free agents
Teams that make poor coaching hires
Teams that decide to run a princeton offense despite not having the personnel to run it

All of these things cheapen the NBA product and disappoint its fans

So your saying he should have had them at the game, played them 3 minutes, and nobody would have had a problem?

Are you advocating a rule being instituted that your starters have to play a certain amount of minutes every game if they are healthy?
