These publishers want a cut of that second hand market bread man. I'd rather an online pass of sorts maybe to get them something instead of totally killing the used game market. Does that mean you can't take games over to a friends or relatives house? I dunno man.

I don't believe this story. I don't think either company will block used games. That would be a big mistake. And I think it's an even bigger mistake to require an Internet connection in order to play.

I'll wait for the official information to come out before I pass judgement, but these types of features are what will differentiate the two systems.

Edit: I think it would be a big advantage for one system or the other if they don't block used games and the other one does.

It's painfully obvious that both MS and Sony are looking to kill the 2nd hand market. I just don't see that shyt riding somehow.

you got kids with consoles in their rooms with no online connection, so how would they be able to play? I'd call but I don't put shyt pass the Suits at these companies.

problem is that newer games required you updating your system software, so you got screwed trying to play newer burnt games.

and I totally believe the built in kinect though....that bloatest OS might be trying to do too much.

Yeah they'd be killing a lot of businesses. Gamefly, GameStop, redbox just to name a few
