What if Activision told Sony no CoD unless you axe those used games?
That would hurt Sony a lot more than it would hurt Activision.
The big publishers like Activision and EA are the ones who are pushing for this!
What do you think would happen if at E3 Sony announced the PS4 can play used games, then MS announced the next iteration of Madden and CoD were exclusive to 720?

You're saying playstation cant exist without madden and COD? Activision\ea arent that stupid. When the rumor was Sony disabling used games everyone was like o wow sony you're so dumb but oddly when microsoft does it xbots come up with reasons why Sony will flop if they dont follow
The thought process has always been that either both Sony and MS would kill used games or neither would.
Im telling you straight up the PS4 cannot survive without Madden and CoD. EA has already shown they dont give a fukk.......Dreamcast. No Madden kills the US market and then no FIFA kills the European market. EA has a larger hand than you think.
No matter how mad EA and Garbagevision are, they aren't that dumb to throw that PS4 install base in the bushes. EA already does online passes for their games , so they at least get something in return. COD goes diamond every release, so the used game market aint hurting them for that shyt.
We'll probably see online passes for every game going forward though.
And EA/Sony's relationship is good. They want to be like like Activision/MS.
I still do find it VERY hard to believe that MS is doing this. If Sony doesn't and MS does, they will hand the states damn near back to Sony in one swoop. The suits at MS can't be that dumb...they just can't. There's still time to change their mind hopefully.

Why? Don't you guys realize that the consoles are always...ALWAYS 1-2 generations back of what goes on in the PC? You guys are crazy lol, most pc heads knew this was inevitable.

EA and Sony were already VERY buddy buddy with the PS1. And EA Sports didn't care of the likes of NBA 2K and NFL 2K either.
