Detroit broke as fukk, but black interests need to stay key. I'm not tryna see Detroit turn into Hipster Hockeytown from Southwest to Warrendale to 8 Mile
I think part of the problem is that all the blacks who thought they were doing something moved to Canton, Southfield, East subs, etc.
The best areas are at the core city and now CAC are gonna eat good.

I'm sorry but I just can't defend Detroit. that was a failure and they are to blame, they should have used the time to floss black excellence and instead they turned to corruption, fukk that. They should be shunned by the community.
at the same time..... like these nikkas in here are saying........... The older generation failed horribly. Luckily its sooooo many freakin black people, and a good amount of educated black people that they really can't completely get rid of us. We see what's going on more than our fukk ass parents and grandparents did.

That chit not new people been running to the suburbs for years like that. Section 8 was always easier to get out there and those townhouse complexes was nicer than renting a house In detroit for the same price.

some of these lil events i get invitied to from time to time, i hear em talkin about this and that neighborhood
the only parts they dont want is the parts where they cant create a business in that area
your point doesn't really make sense unless you actually believe that blacks have every 'owned' Detroit. There is a reason y every black mayor was fukked w so hard.... not all were over the top corrupt.

We are only 1 of two black families on my street... i live in midtown.. nothing but smart crakkers who fixed up abandoned homes... or young hipsters who feel it's cool to live in Detroit now.
entire apartment buildings have gotten 60 notices to move out........ and replaced by foreign asian and local white college students.
My homegirl called the police for something minor 1 day--- 3 cars showed up in under 7 min.
lol, shyts different. They gonna leave the eastside alone only so that area and the wack ass cheap subs can warehouse all the people who don't fit in.
in the areas that are marked for renovation this doesn't happen anymore.
1 property i have.. used to be car stolen, maybe robbed... then people take all the pipes n shyt out of the house. Now heavy cameras in the trees n lights n shyt... police patrol.
the idea is to attract businesses and working professionals.
