There is a reason y the majority of the cities senior staff comes from one high school in the city @Coney Island Do u know which one that is????

I agree about responsibility, but all things considered (though I guess u choose to not consider) Detroit has struggled this far and has dealt with more shyt than any other place besides Flint, MI. Only recently are we moving pass the fukkkery and have a chance to become a great city. It just so HAPPENS that the pop is Black so the mayors have been black... so the blacks are looked at as failures, regardless if all races within city limits failed the same way. But lets be real. This is America. Blacks are barely citizens.. .and blacks never had any control of the political and business landscape in MI.

Well.... considering the fact that Detroit wouldn't be the Black City if it were not for the auto industry.... it's kinda tough to diss them for being slightly dependent on it. Most people here were dependent on it, not just blacks.

We moved from the South to Detroit. Realistically people should be happy that Detroit became what it did- good or bad... . We wouldnt have an idea of black middle class, black equal pay, or a platform to judge the failures of black politicians if it were not for Detroit.

I'm not sure if your comparisons are valid. During the time frame that these groups you mention came to power...... were they being raped, hung and killed in mass numbers?

I'm only revisiting that history because that is exactly the time-frame in which these groups made the moves you're speaking about. During a time were you could make these moves... during a time were you could have ur entire community living middle class with no degrees.
